The course is designed to be a virtual business trip to Vietnam for businessmen. The lessons are arranged in the chronological order of a business trip’s phases. Students will have great opportunities to practise the language in which they are going to communicate with Vietnamese people and partners in different situations of the trip. The conversations students are going to be engaged in are becoming the real ones they have at the airports, hotels, restaurants, post offices, workshops, seminars, meetings, conferences, and so on. Above all, students can develop awareness of Vietnamese business culture, etiquettes, taboos, and common practice so that potential culture shocks, misunderstanding, and conflicts can be avoided when business is done either in Vietnam or with Vietnamese partners.
