Admission Procedures
 
Step 1 ~ Application to Cambridge Institute
Applicant to submit the following to Cambridge Institute (CI) :
  • Duly completed Application Form
  • Requisite Application Fee
  • Step 2 ~ Issuance of Letter Of Offer and Student Contract
    CI will issue the following documents to the applicant upon receipt of the Application Form and Application Fee:
  • Letter of Offer
  • Student Contract
  • Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow) Confirmation
  • Student’s Pass documents checklist
  • Step 3 ~ Completion of Student Contract and Documents for Student’s Pass Application
    Part A
    Applicant to return the duly completed and signed Student Contract and Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow) Confirmation to CI.
    Part B
    Applicant to submit the following to CI for Student’s Pass application:
    1. Two (2) copies each of the following forms – duly completed and signed by applicant and local sponsor at the relevant sections:
     
    i) 16
    ii) V36
    iii) V39S
     

    (Above forms may be downloaded from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website – http://app.ica.gov.sg/serv_visitor/download.asp)

    2. Four (4) recent passport-sized photographs (3.5” x 4.5”)
    3. One (1) copy each of the following documents:
     
    i) Birth Certificate
    ii) Graduation Certificate & Academic Transcripts
    iii) Personal particulars pages of valid passport/travel document
    iv) Local sponsor’s identity card
    v) Bank statement* (for proof of financial ability)

    *Only for applicants who are nationals of visa-required countries – as defined by ICA.

    Please note the following:

    a.
    Originals of documents are only required by ICA when the application has been approved, whereupon applicant is required to submit them for verification before the Student’s Pass is issued.
    b. Where English translation and notary of items i) & ii) are submitted, a copy of the respective original documents must still be provided.
    c. Applicant must use the same name on all documents; otherwise, a change-of-name certificate is to be submitted.
    d. Where applicant’s spouse or one of applicant’s parents/step-parents is a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident, kindly refer to the ICA website http://app.ica.gov.sg/serv_visitor/student_pass/application_types.asp#private for details of additional documents required.
    Step 4 ~ Application for Student’s Pass
    CI will submit the requisite forms and documents to ICA on applicant’s behalf. The application for Student’s Pass takes four (4) – eight (8) weeks.
    Step 5 ~ Payment of Fees
    CI will inform applicant of outcome of the Student’s Pass application. Where application is successful, applicant shall make payment of all tuition and non-tuition fees due.
